Nat Gonella was a prominent British jazz trumpeter and bandleader, best known for his work in the 1930s and 1940s. He founded the band The Georgians, which became popular for their version of "Georgia on My Mind". Gonella was heavily influenced by Louis Armstrong and was a pioneer of British jazz.
